Ever since the early versions of Windows (Windows 95 OSR2 I believe), Windows came with a built-in MP3 decoder. However,
this filter may be a bit limited. It may not play MP3 files that contain images in their headers and ALBW wrapped files,
and it may show the wrong duration for VBR MP3 files.
Milenko "DCoder" Mitrovic has written an alternative filter which fixes these issues which you can download from
this page. This filter only effects ".MP3" file playback and does not conflict with embedded MP3 files (such as
MP3 streams in AVI/Matroska files).
