DIVX 3.11 is actually a hack of the Microsoft MPEG-4 encoder/decoder. It was created due to microsoft
artificially limiting their code so it wouldn't work properly in the open-ended AVI wrapper (at the time microsoft
wanted to limit it's use to the ASF wrapper format, today known as Windows Media Video or WMV).
DIVX 3.11 content can be played by newer decoders such as FFDShow and DIVX v4 or newer.
