uTorrent File Tracking
Enabling uTorrent download tracking allows you to view uTorrent's download progress within the Media Library, File Browsing and Download navigation interfaces.
Configuring uTorrent:
For the tracking system to work, you must enable uTorrent's "Web UI" interface, set a username, password and a port number (8080 being the default port number).
Next, fill the same values are entered in uTorrent in this dialog.
Make sure that uTorrent's setting for appending the ".!ut" file extension to incomplete files is disabled.
Security concerns:
If you are only using uTorrent's Web UI interface to display download progress
in Zoom Player, you should restrict access to IP number "127.0.0.1" (which is
the local IP address for your computer). Restricting access to this IP
address means that uTorrent's Web UI interface wont be accessible to the
internet as a whole.
Notes:
This feature requires uTorrent v1.61 or newer. It is possible that newer
versions of the uTorrent client will break support for this feature. If this is
the case, look for an updated version of Zoom Player on our home page.
If you're upgrading uTorrent v1.61-1.80 to v1.81 or newer, you may need to
retype your password in uTorrent as the password saving mechanism has changed.
To integrate with the Media Library, add uTorrent's "Downloaded Files" folder(s) using the Media Library Path Editor.
From uTorrent v3 and up, you no longer need to specify the "New download path" directory as this information is now gathered automatically.
eMule File Tracking
Enabling eMule download tracking instructs Zoom Player to list eMule ".part" files with their true file names along with a download progress indicator within
the Media Library, File Browsing and Download navigation interfaces.
Configuring eMule:
For the tracking system to work, you must make sure that the "Temporary files" path is identical in both Zoom Player and eMule's options dialog.
Notes:
eMule v0.47c or newer is required.
To integrate with the Media Library, add eMule's "Temporary files" folder using the Media Library Path Editor.
