The control bar is a semi-dynamic interface. In this page, you can control which Zoom Player functions will appear on the control bar. Each function is represented by a Button. Since each button needs a specific graphic to be drawn to identify it and since Zoom Player has several hundred functions, it is up to the Skin Designer to choose which functions should be available on the control bar.

One other issue of note is that Zoom Player can store different button sets for DVD and Media modes. To configure each mode, you must open the options dialog while Zoom Player is set to either Media or DVD mode.
